A favorite at our place.
3 cups maida
1cup warm water.
Make a dough of all the ingredients and knead nicely, I do it in a food processor so it is very easy.
Place it in a oiled bowl and rest for a hour.
You can make around 6 smallish pizzas with this.
After the dough has risen, make 6 balls and flatten each and roll them. Keep pressing the edges simultaneously.
Place this on a pizza pan, spread pizza sauce,veggies of your choice and lots of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle some salt and herbs as well
Bake it in a 200c preheated oven for 15 mins.
For a cheese burst version, spread a layer of cheese spread on the base and then spread pizza sauce.
Pizza is one of my favorite food which I can have it any time of the day and this has passed on to Sakshi as well. She luves having pizza and loves cheese as well. but a bit picky with the veggies I include. So I usually skip on onion and tomato when preparing for her, and include capsicum, paneer, corn spinach( ya I have tried adding that as well sometimes). This is a very simple one with ready pizza base from the market.
Pizza Base 1
tomato Sauce, Cubed Capsicum, Cubed Paneer, Salt, Pepper, and loads of cheese.
I usually bake the base in the oven for 3-4 mins.
Then spread tomato Sauce and sprinkle some grated cheese over it.
Then top it with veggies, I have used capsicum and paneer.
Sprinkle a bit salt and pepper over it and bake again for 3-4 mins at this stage I only use the top part of the oven which is used for grilling purpose so that the paneer and capsicum gets a bit grilled. Lastly sprinkle cheese all over and again bake for a min till the cheese melts.
Pizza Is ready to serve.
This may look like an odd process to bake it so many times but i feel when done like this the base doesn’t become very soft due to the tomato sauce and is ideal to pack it for her school.
