This is super easy and a yummy one…a no fuss recipe which will be a total hit with all.
I used sub’s bread for this… U can use any loaf or big buns as well
Make criss cross slits in the bread…not the whole way down.
Cut cheese and cold butter into small slices.
Place cheese and butter alternatively in each slice and sprinkle some salt n pizza seasoning.
I have used Amul garlic butter.
Bake it for 5 to 10 mins in a preheated oven of 200c
Enjoi eating it hot.

A favorite at our place.

3 cups maida
1tbsp yeast
2tsp salt
1tsp sugar
1cup warm water.

Make a dough of all the ingredients and knead nicely, I do it in a food processor so it is very easy.
Place it in a oiled bowl and rest for a hour.
You can make around 6 smallish pizzas with this.
After the dough has risen, make 6 balls and flatten each and roll them. Keep pressing the edges simultaneously.
Place this on a pizza pan, spread pizza sauce, veggies of your choice and lots of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle some salt and herbs as well
Bake it in a 200c preheated oven for 15 mins.
For a cheese burst version, spread a layer of cheese spread on the base and then spread pizza sauce.

Tomato Soup

I love soups and paired with a light sandwich ar a simple toasted bread can make it a complete meal. Tomato Soup is something which was always ordered in our visits to restaurant, it is only from past some years that we have a array of soups of available. My personal fav is Hot And Sour and will post the recipe for that as well very soon. This is a very easy and simple preparation and you can make it to suite your taste. For a more profound color add some cubes of beetroot and it will give you a darker color. This is also a fat free one as i have not added any butter or added flour to thicken it.

Tomato Soup

Ripe Red Tomatoes 5

Onion 1

Split yellow moong dal 2 tbsp

Pepper 1 tsp

Sugar 1 tsp if reqd.

Water 1/4 cup

Milk 1/4 cup

Chop tomatoes and onion into big chunks.

Place them in a cooker along with the dal and water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.

Let cool and blend the mixture into a puree.

Strain the mixture to get a smooth puree  (You can skip this step as well , but i like a smoother consistency)

Transfer to a pan and add salt, pepper and milk and simmer till it gets to a boil.

Taste the soup and if you feel there is a  tartness of the tomatoes add the sugar.

Serve hot.

Pinks Notes:

I also add carrots or beetroots sometime while cooking it.

You can also add a single star anise to get a different flavor.
